Bird Island
Located in the northernmost area of the archipelago, Bird Island is one of the most popular islands in Seychelles. It is a thirty to forty minute flight away from Mahé. This island is particularly known for its abundance of majestic coral reefs, numerous bird species and the home of the green hawksbill turtles. The beaches here are truly breathtaking.

The coolness and cleanliness of the Indian Ocean is truly inviting while its coasts are covered in white soft sands that absolutely compliment the water and the lush green vegetation of the island as well. Every year, during the month of May, millions of different bird species come here to nest – a truly phenomenal occurrence. To maintain its natural environment, artificial lights are not available in the island to avoid distracting the birds and confusing the turtles.
