La Digue Islands

La Digue is a steep granitic island, 52 kilometres away from Mahé and 6.9 kilometres from Praslin. It is the fourth largest island in the Seychelles after Silhouette. It is the unspoiled destination for people who desire to have a taste of the authentic Seychelles tradition. It is known to be the most exclusive and mythical island and nowhere else will you ever find waters more limpid and sands so white.

Here, the main mode of transportation is the bicycle and the traditional ox cart which is still very much a part of the scene. Its natural landscapes include unique rock formations extending down underwater. This island breathes peace and serenity above all. Here, time passes very quietly.
